Newsflash From St Francis Property Owners NPC (SRA) – The Spit Is Officially Closed To Members Of The Public

As construction has now commenced for the Long Term Coastal Protection Scheme,  the spit is now officially closed to the public.

The spit area is closed from the Aldabara Run side, as well as from any of the houses in that area, from the Ski Canal jetties, and the Kromme River Mouth. 

Anyone alighting from their boats at either the Kromme River Mouth, on the current sandbank there, or at the two Ski Canal jetties can no longer walk onto the spit. There is now a construction vehicle access road along the crest of the spit. The entire spit area is now deemed a construction zone.

We request that members of the public cooperate with these health and safety regulations.
