Newsflash From St Francis Property Owners NPC (SRA) – Please take extra care when using the Kromme River above the bridge.

At present, two dredgers are working in the area, with pipelines and anchor poles stretched across the river as part of the dredging operation. These create potential hazards for boats, canoes, and other river users.

When approaching these sections, all river users are asked to cross the pipelines slowly and with caution. For safety, please keep to the right-hand side of the river near the Rivertide Jetties, as this area has been identified as the safest passage while the S-bend is being dredged.

Please also remember that the space within 10 metres of any jetty is strictly a no-wake zone, as required by local by-laws.

Your cooperation helps ensure the safety of everyone on the river. Proceed slowly, remain alert, and use extra caution at all times.
